The All Your Life Charity Ball will feature lots of celebrity guests and sporting stars including ex snooker star Willie Thorne who will host the evening.

Proceeds for the evening will go to two very worthwhile charities: Maggies Cancer Care and Winstons Wish Charities.

Lagi got a tiny fracture before the knuckle in his hand, so has a big cast on his arm (you’ll see it in the videos). We’re going to get the cast framed though, as Aidan Davis, Shaun Smith, Danyl Johnson, Jamie Archer, Jedward, Lloyd Daniels and Stacey Solomon all signed it.

We had such a good day at Nantwich and Aidan, Shaun and Danyl all joined us on stage for our final dance- thanks guys. You all look pretty good with wigs on actually…

Hope you all liked Come Dine With Me. I’ve got a little confesion to make about that. When I got home after filming, I thought it best to tell Karen about being jumped on by Janice Dickinson. So, as we were on our way home I discussed with Lagi the best approach.

I said to Lagi, “when we get in I ‘ll just say that we were dancing and Janice was a little tipsy she ran over and was about to fall, when luckily I leant over and caught her.

“”Dad” …Lagi said… “Wait for a couple of hours and then say ‘oh I forgot to tell you. Janice Dickinson went to cuddle me and she got carried away”

So, as we pulled up outside the house I said “don’t worry, leave it to me”. We opened the door …..”Hi darling, how did it go?” ….. she looked at Lagi ……. “Janice Dickinson jumped dad and wrapped her legs round him.” I stood there opened mouthed …….. “She’s mad…….she’s mad i tell you” is all i kept saying.

Karen let me off after she saw the show…. “she’s mad isn’t she”……. I told you dear….

Anyway, we did the Lovebox Festival on Saturday and then a wedding, and on Sunday we were at the Dartford Festival (followed by another wedding at night).

We took Adam with us on Sunday as it was a long drive and I left him in charge of the filming backstage while we were on at the Dartford Festival ………I gave him the camera and said to him when we get get on stage film the zorba dance while we get everybody dancing along.

As we got on stage I said to the crowd are we all gonna dance along and they all went YEHHHHHHHHH. I shouted “this is gonna be on youtube so everybody dance along! …..and the crowed went YEHHHHHH (again)

I told everyone that Adam is gonna film it so everybody say “Adam are you ready?”…….so 32000 people shouted  “ADAM ARE YOU READY?”

I looked at the back of the stage and Adam was there with the camera and he gave me the thumbs up …….so i shouted “LETS GO!!!”

I had the crowed dancing along, we were dancing and I looked back.Adam was filming- we both gave each other the thumbs up. The crowd were going faster and faster and the music was going faster and faster.

We threw our wigs and the crowd cheered. I said thank you and look out for it on Youtube….

We went off the back of the stage and looked at Adam…… “That was brill ….. “Yehh it looked really good Dem” ….. “Did you get all of it? Did you get the crowd? Did you get us dancing? Did you get them cheering?”

“No………………………………….”

“What do you mean no?! I saw you filming!!” …… “I know, the battery ran out 2 seconds into it and i didnt want to put you off so I pretended to carry on filming”

“…………but ……….but …… I told them all it was going to be on Youtube”

“Don’t worry blame me guys. The reason there is no video from Dartford is because of Adam”

The real reason is because I forgot to get new batteries …sorry!

So if anyone has a video of the Dartford gig please post it up.

Just gonna tell you what happened to us the other day. I’m writing this and listening to a song on you tube. Very beautiful if you want to listen to what I like while reading this story, just click here: ΜΑΡΙΝΕΛΛΑ – Εγώ θα πάρω καπετάνιο.

Anyway, we were invited to go to Folkstone and spend the day at the RAF Squaudron training ground so instead of going up in the morning, I asked if it was OK to go up Wednesday night and give the troops a little dance and that way we would get up early and see them training and getting ready for their tour of Afghanistan.

Well, we got there and they were all surprised when we ran out into their meeting room and danced for them. What a great bunch of lads …. I don’t want to get all serious but they know they are doing a great job and risking life and limb to keep the world safe, so it’s the least we could do. A little 3 minute dance to get them in a good mood!!

Well we finished and had loads of pictures and signed loads, and then Lagi asked “where are we staying“. The man in charge said “we’ve put you up in our best barracks, so are you ready to get some rest?” .…“Is it possible we can get some food first” I asked .…“Sure, what do you want? “e can go and get some Chinese”

Well, you know you don’t have to ask me twice so off we went! Me, Lagi, the Colonel and Mark our friend who organised the trip. We got the food and headed back to eat it in our room and watch some tele.

As we got to the room the man opened the door and inside the room were two metal thin beds and two wafer thin plastic mattresses and sheets and itchy looking blankets in a neat pile on the end of each.

I would call it a bed but that would be lying they were metal fences laid down to look like beds ….. ohhhhhh myyyyyyy god …. I looked at Mark and the man and they were smiling so I played along. Lagi wasn’t smiling. “See you two in the morning”…“yeah bye”….as the door closed Lagi looked at me and I winked at him. “Don’t worry they’ll be back they are playing a joke on us”.

We were still sitting there waiting for them to come back. Twenty minutes later; “They’re not coming back dad”… “I think you’re right Lags. Don’t worry I have seen enough survival programs. We’ll be fine”.

Lagi gave me one of those looks like he wanted to throttle me, so I reminded him that Christmas was only 6 months away and Santa would look after him. More importantly though; “Dad, how are we going to eat this Chinese?!!”

All there was in this tiny room were two beds, a chest of drawers and a mirror …and I must say given the circumstances I did look rather good.

I opened the suitcase and dug around and pulled out a shoehorn that I had pinched from one of the hotels that we had stayed in … so just picture it, we are sat there on 2 prison issue beds with itchy blankets, itchy pillows and taking turns eating special fried rice chicken chow mein sweet and sour pork with a stolen shoe horn!!!

We did eventually get to sleep and wake up and have a great day which I will tell you about some other time, as this has to be one of the longest stories yet …. anyone who thinks Stavros Flatley is becoming a diva please refer back to this story and consider how two little podgy fellas roughed it with the troops all in the name of show business!

Can I firstly say that we have noticed that our facebook site and our twitter thingy is going up and up.

What can I say to you all that you don’t already know?! To the people that have just joined, welcome to the world of Stavros Flatley and to those of you who have been here with us from the begining ….. thank you.

Hand on our hearts ….. it means so much to us that you’re with us on this mad mad mad journey. It was ony meant to be a gag and then grew into the best time of our lives … me, Karen, Lagi and Elle thank you all.

We’ve got over one million, three hundred thousand friends on our facebook … I’ve got to say that again … one million, three hundred thousand friends. Isn’t that just mad?!

And I say friends because that’s what you all are. Maybe we can’t invite you all round for tea and biscuit type of friends, but you are still our friends, and for that we feel really blessed. I mean it.

I have to stop now in case I start getting all mushy and start crying again. I must be getting old. I’m crying all the flipping time nowadays. At everything and anything. I was wacthing Murder She Wrote the other day. Who crys at Murder She Wrote for goodness sake?!! Karen even caught me crying. It’s that woman Angela Lansbury. She reminded me of my granny.
