So, we recently headed off to Cardiff to stay at the Celtic Manor where we were going to dance at someone’s birthday party.

On the way, there was a sign for Stonehenge, so we turned off and headed there. I was thinking it wasn’t going to be much good, but when we got there it was OK.  There were all these stones standing up out of the ground and then you move along a bit and there are some more of these stones half in the ground.

Then you move on a bit more and some stones are there out of the ground…so we just stood there looking at these stones sticking out of the ground. Then I had to apologise to Lagi for making him come and look at the stones sticking out of the ground…only joking, it was OK, and we can say we’ve seen Stonehenge now.

So we carried on to Cardiff and booked into the hotel, where we met Gareth Bale’s mum (the Tottenham player…not the mum, the son).  She was a lovely lady who wanted us to come out and surprise Gareth’s family and friends that night on his 21st birthday.

So, we had a great day. Lagi played golf and I went for a swim and a sauna, then we hid in our room until it was time to do the surprise. Gareth was on the dance floor with his mate, and our music began playing so we ran out and pushed them off and carried on the dance!

It was fun, and they loved it. We did another dance with some of Gareth’s friends who dressed up as us, and then we stayed for pics…and a couple of diet cokes.

All of a sudden I look around for Lagi and I can’t see him. I thought he must have gone to the toilet, so I carried on with the pictures. When they were all done I took a walk round the room, passing all these casino tables that have been set up with proper chips and croupiers and there’s Lagi, standing next to Theo Walcott and Gareth Bale and some more of Gareth’s friends!

Lagi is playing three hands of blackjack at once.  Apparently the person with the most winnings that night won a weekend break at the resort, and the second prize was a bottle of bubbly. I know it was only fake money, but Lagi was really going for it and these top footballers were all stood round him like Cincinnati kid! ….I wish I had the phone to take a picture for you all!!

Well, he didn’t win, and ended up losing all his chips. So we stayed for a while then said our goodnights and headed off to bed.

We’re all back home now, but I can’t too much longer cos I’ve got to pick Lagi up from the his meeting ……gamblers anonymous !!

See you soon,

Demi
