Hi guys

Gotta say, yesterday was one of the gladdest days we’ve had so far- we wanted to give something back. I know it sounds really cliched, but when we first came up with the idea of “Win a visit from Stavros” we didn’t realise how much response we’d get and how bad we would feel that we couldn’t visit every single one of you that entered.

When we chose the Swindon Down’s Syndrome Group, we contacted them and a girl called Jo who (with a lot of hard work and help from their patron Howard) put together a surprise for the head of the group Nikki and all the kids.

The dance floor was tiny and it felt like being back in my living room in front of my family dancing for the first time!! We would do it 100 times over again because when you see how much fun everyone had, it melts your heart. Thanks for the Swindon Advertiser and the Deputy Mayor and Mayoress for coming along. I really hope the group got a bit of publicity, because any help they get goes along way for the kids. Have a look at the photos and our chorus line of Flatleys.

As promised, if we are ever anywhere near any of the other entrants drop us an email and we will try our best to come and see you as per our schedule.

Lastly, I just want to say guys, this is one of the most humbling experiences we’ve had, and we will to do this again, because we had such a good time.

It was great that two little fat fellas made a few good people happy for a couple of hours on a Monday afternoon.
